Creativity isn’t a job title—it’s a leadership advantage.
Every leader has the capacity to think creatively, but too often, that potential goes untapped. And when it does, teams lose momentum, ideas stall, and impact stays out of reach.
According to Forbes, over 70% of companies say creative thinking will be the most in-demand skill from 2023 to 2027. And a global study shared by Harvard Business Review revealed that 1,500 CEOs ranked creativity as the top skill for navigating complexity and leading through change.
Despite this, many leaders still don’t see themselves as creative. They second-guess their ideas, hesitate to speak up, or default to doing things the way they’ve always been done. That’s not a lack of intelligence—it’s a lack of creative confidence.
While leading an international literacy initiative, I saw firsthand how one bold idea—when nurtured creatively—could grow into something with global impact. That journey taught me this:
